After all the fruit is dried RPC, runs the dried fruit over a grading table to optimize quality, followed by a sizing table which allows seperation based on size. Once the fruit is sized it is uniform and ready to ship.
Prunes are categorized by the amount of prunes it takes to make one pound. Larger size fruit requires 40-50 pieces to make a pound while small fruit takes 100-120 pieces to make a pound. For more sizes click here: PRUNE SIZES.
Once the fruit has been graded and sized it is then stored in 1 ton bins.
